CENTRO IPPICO CASTELLAZZO: CLUB COMPETITION DAY

As I said in the previous post, Saturday Oct. 26 in my equestrian center there was a club competition, a preview of the big party we’ll organize for Christmas. The course was designed by Ms. Nelly Mancinelli and complete with the triplex, some trunk barriers and the ditch (there weren’t only the ducks in the water!) and a new floral partner to decorate all kinds of jumps: Romicitas. The difficulty of the course was the proximity of the jumps, just off immediately one another, with few moments of respite. At 3pm after a unique reconnaissance, it begun the higher classes and continued in descending order, up to the gymkhana ponies. The competition was not timed and note with more rounds, but a sort of working equitation with judge the show-jumping rider Orlandi, who after each tourn, has commented the performance and gave some technical advices. Icona and I have done clear round earning the compliments of the jury and was suggested to me to try to be as relaxed as possible in the saddle, just what for me is not always so easy because Icona is hot mare. I’ll try 😉 I’m happy for this wonderful day and opportunity, it’s not every day that you can get the opinion of an Olympic and I wait with pleasure for the Christmas edition! Enjoy the photos 😉
